As the Foundation continues to evolve and grow thanks to your valued support, we are delighted to announce some changes to the Foundation’s fundraising team. Leri Price has decided to pursue further studies but we are pleased to say that Leri will not be leaving us and will remain at the Foundation on a part-time basis. Given our new name and wider engagement with new supporters we have also taken this opportunity to introduce a restructure.
We have taken on a new team member, Anna Tullgren to help assist our events. Samiya Rashid and Leri Price, previously Fundraising and Events Executives for Europe and UK & Ireland respectively, will each be taking on new roles and responsibilities. These changes will enable us to adapt and develop new projects while allowing us to continue our support to you and build new relationships and campaigns.
To facilitate this, Samiya will be overseeing fundraising campaigns and events for the Foundation as a whole, including supporting your fundraising initiatives throughout the year and managing Ducks for Change (take a look below to see one of our newest sets, the superhero range!). She will be your main point of contact for all fundraising queries, apart from Around the World in a Day or black tie events.
As mentioned above, Leri will remain at the Foundation for 2 days a week to allow her to concentrate on studying. She will be concentrating exclusively on our signature fundraising campaign Around the World in a Day, which will witness a reboot in 2016.
In addition to our existing team members, we are delighted to welcome on board our newest member of staff, Anna Tullgren. Some of you may remember Anna from the Workshop earlier this year where she did a fantastic job of assisting the Foundation’s arrangements for the day. We are very pleased that she is now joining us as a staff member to support your fundraising and provide invaluable assistance to the Foundation generally.
