Charity Voucher Scheme

DM Thomas Foundation for Young People

Accommodation Vouchers for Fundraising

The Charity Vouchers scheme enables registered charities to purchase accommodation vouchers for stays in various hotels located across the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and mainland Europe, where DM Thomas Foundation for Young People operates.

Each voucher typically comprises of a one or two night stay for two people on a bed and breakfast basis. Vouchers have been generously donated by Hilton properties to help the Foundation raise funds to supplement its administration costs, thus enabling more of its net income to reach good causes through its grants programme.

Pricing (ex-VAT) for the 2017-18 vouchers are:

£100 for a 2 night stay for 2 people including breakfast.

£50 for a 1 night stay for 2 people including breakfast

This equates to just £25 per person per night!

More than 1,500 charities and good causes have already registered on the site and you can read some of their great feedback here

For Charity use

Through this scheme charities can purchase accommodation vouchers for a modest administration fee for use in fundraising auctions and raffles, as well as for staff stays whilst undertaking charitable activities. The process will ask you to submit your charity details and intended voucher uses (e.g. for a Raffle, Auction or operational needs such as a staff conference). Each stage is subject to approval and once approved you can purchase as many vouchers as you wish to support the work of your charity.

Available from 20th February 2017,the next batch of vouchers will have validity June 2017- June 2018 (unless otherwise specified) to facilitate your fundraising events including over the festive season.

NB: Please do not pre-sell or promise vouchers for particular locations at your fundraising events before you have secured them as we cannot honour these. All vouchers are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

To proceed, simply go to 'Sign up' in the menu bar above. You will need to activate your registration through a link that will be sent to your email address. Once activated, the site will direct you to enter details about your organisation and then later your intended voucher use.

For Personal use

Vouchers approaching expiry are sometimes made available for individuals to purchase for their personal use (i.e. non-charitable) purposes. All generated funds via these purchases are used to support DM Thomas Foundation for Young People. T&Cs and expiry dates apply. Please note accommodation is offered subject to availability. Thank you for your support.

Remaining 2017-2018 vouchers are expected to become available for public purchase from late December 2017.

When available for public purchase, a list can be found here:

Important information

Please note expiry and date restrictions apply and voucher bookings are always offered 'subject to availability'. The approval of a voucher usage is not a booking with a hotel. Voucher recipients are advised to check availability of ‘voucher stays’ with the desired hotel before purchase and must then contact the hotel directly, after purchase, to secure a reservation.
