Team members at Hilton Leeds City decided to raise money for DMTFYP charity partner Children’s Heart Surgery Fund this February. They held a “Wear it Red Day” on 6 February where team members were encouraged to wear either an item of red clothing, or to go all out if possible, in head to toe red clothing. The money they raised will go to support the work of Children’s Heart Surgery Fund, the award winning charity supporting the Yorkshire heart unit at the Leeds General Infirmary. They fund equipment, staff posts, resources and training for those who work on the heart wards; and support patients with congenital heart disease and their families.
